The brief
Where it started
Maison Ores had beautiful products and a brand that looked like every other niche fragrance label: black box, gold foil, the word “artisanal”. Sales were strong in-store, where people could hold the bottle, and flat online, where they couldn’t.
We were hired to fix the website. Our research showed the website was only the symptom. The brand gave online shoppers nothing to feel.
The idea
Stop selling luxury. Sell the moment the glass touches your skin.

The work
What we did
01
Position
Customer interviews kept returning to one word: touch. We rebuilt the positioning around it and removed the luxury vocabulary altogether.
02
Identity
A wordmark drawn from condensation on glass, a palette taken from the liquid itself, and packaging designed to be opened slowly.
03
Flagship
A Shopify flagship built on slow-motion studies of each scent, with sample sets moved to the front of the buying journey.

In their words
They found the sentence we’d been circling for five years. Everything got easier after that.
